Since opening in 1974, the East Course has continued to be loved by a great many golfers because of its design,
which takes advantage of the ground’s rich natural topographical features,
making it not only a course where it is pleasant to hit but also strategically challenging.
The West Course is the only golf course in Japan to host major tournaments for the men’s tour in consecutive years.
As a championship golf course worthy as a stage for hosting the Japan Golf Tour Championship,
it continues to further refine its major-level quality.
A comfortable clubhouse, full-service restaurant and well-appointed practice environment top off a round of golf.
And there are collaborations with other facilities and many various benefits that only Mori Building can provide.
We will continue to offer a high-quality club life to enable golfers to enjoy everything that Shishido Hills provides.
Since 2003, the West Course has continuously hosted the BMW Japan Golf Tour Championship Mori Building Cup ,
a major tournament where top golfers in Japan engage in fierce competition to be the No. 1 tour player.
Of the men’s major tournaments in Japan, the BMW Japan Golf Tour Championship Mori Building Cup is the only one to always be hosted at the same course.
The winner of this tournament receives a seeding for the tour for a period of five years,
in addition to becoming qualified to participate in the PGA Tour and DP World Tour .
The East Course hosts the JLPGA HILLS Ladies MORI BUILDING CUP, an event aimed at developing and raising the level of women’s golf in Japan. A stage is provided with major tournament standards for supporting the growth of golfers who will lead future generations.

This is a major tournament established in 2000 and hosted by the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO) .
Together with the Japan PGA Championship and Japan Open Golf Championship ,
this tournament is one of what are known as Japan’s three major championships.
As the winner of this tournament also receives attractive benefits such as a seeding for the next five years for matches certified by the JGTO (official matches),
in addition to becoming qualified to participate in the PGA Tour and DP World Tour,
tour players engage in fierce competition at the highest level.
MoriBuilding has been a special co-sponsor of this tournament since 2003,
and its Shishido Hills Country Club West Course has continuously been the stage for the Japan Golf Tour Championship since that year,
with this course being the only one in Japan where a men’s major tournament is always held at the same course.
This tournament not only determines the “No. 1 tour player,”
but also paves the path to tournaments held around the world.
The Shishido Hills Country Club takes this responsibility very seriously and continues to make every possible effort with the aim of being “No.1 in Japan” in all matters, from conditioning the course and handling operations to providing hospitality to guests.
The Clubhouse offers an extensive menu from staple dishes to “the chef’s recommended course” crafted with seasonal ingredients. We hope that customers are able to thoroughly enjoy the flavors and hospitality of the “Hills” clubhouse nestled amidst verdant hills.
Golfers who started from the West front nine can dine surrounded by scenic greenery at Shishido-an, a restaurant serving authentic Japanese cuisine, after playing the ninth hole. Customers can enjoy handmade soba noodles, a dish that is representative of the food culture of Japan, in this space of Japanese essence that is one with nature.
The desire shared by each and every staff member is to provide heartfelt services in every corner of every facility to ensure that “customers are able to have the most enjoyable and fulfilling golfing experience possible from the moment they are welcomed to Shishido Hills.”
With an extensive renovation of the restaurant, clubhouse, and large public bath, the facility has been reborn into an even more relaxing and tranquil space.
